Training for the workforce and use of the latest technology in electrical construction is imperative to ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the highest standards in the industry.
The robust and rigorous program educates individuals in the electrical industry preparing them for a sustainable career. The electrical apprenticeship is jointly managed by NorCal NECA and IBEW Local 595 with training occurring both in the classroom at the Zero Net Energy Center and on hands-on at job sites. The Alameda County JATC (Joint Apprenticeship Training Center) reflects the diversity of the County’s communities and of the electrical trade, exceeding national averages with women, BIPOC, and minority enrollment.
